Crawfordsville -- Mrs. Jennie Beck of Waynetown who will be 95 years old May 14, was given a chenille bedspread Sat by the JC Penney Company of this city for having been the oldest woman to register at the store during the day. Many other women 64 years of age and older enrolled at the store during the day, but it remained for the Waynetown woman to be the oldest customer. Mrs. Beck who is active and enjoys good health was born May 14, 1853. - typed by kbz
